Busted Budgets: Empire State Building

We feel that our second post in the Busted Budgets series is especially appropriate because BuildingBlok calls New York City home! The Empire State Building was built in one year, from 1930 to 1931. The original budget was $386,342,340 and ended up costing $772,684,680.

To borrow the words from Jay-Z’s hit, “Empire State of Mind,”

“New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made of. There’s nothin’ you can’t do.”

One thing you ought to do is use a system like BuildingBlok to help keep your projects on time and on budget.
