Busted Budgets: The Shard

The Shard (in London, UK) was wildly over-budget with an original budget of $619,291,750 and a final cost of $2,123,286,000.  The Shard was nicknamed the world’s tallest white elephant. After a year, only 6 of the 72 floors were occupied and none of the 26 floors designated to business were being used.

In 2015, avoid cost-overruns, project defects and disputes by using BuildingBlok’s construction management tools.
